CES Jaanipäev 2022

This annual event occurred at the Estonian Society’s Land (Eesti Maa), 25 Times Farms Road, Andover, CT 06232, with more than sixty people attending. Participants enjoyed volleyball and other games, and the Victory Day/St. John’s night bonfire. The formal program featured the keynote speaker, Professor Bradley Woodworth, Ph.D., Associate Professor of History at the University of New Haven, and Program Manager of Baltic Studies at Yale University. There were greetings from the Connecticut Latvian and Lithuanian communities. The CES also bestowed the status of “Honored CES Members” (Auliikmed) upon the following individuals: Tiiu Anson, Ylo Anson, Indrik Linask, Rein Linask, Erich Siismets, and Heidi Siismets. This honor recognizes their significant contributions to the Connecticut Estonian community. Dinner featured hotdogs, hamburgers, sauerkraut, salads, etc. Mairo Notton’s REDHOT SAUNA from New York City was a huge hit again this year. People sat around the bonfire singing Estonian songs long into the night. Many camped overnight. The attached video clip captures the events of this truly remarkable night.

Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
